KIE AI
✨ Powered by AI
The future of career training & job onboarding is here.
Meet KIE — your 24/7 AI career coach. From writing your first resume to landing your dream role, KIE guides every step. Smarter prep. Faster results. Zero guesswork.
Platform Guides
1
Choose a Template
From your dashboard, tap New Resume. You'll see all 13 templates — Free plan members can build with 5 of them, Pro and Premier unlock the full set. Each template isn't just a different font — they're genuinely different layouts: some are single-column and text-first (safest for ATS parsing), some are two-column with a sidebar for skills and contact info (great visually, but worth checking your ATS score after), and a couple support a profile photo for roles where that helps. If you're not sure, tap Match Template Quiz — answer a few questions about your industry and seniority and KIE recommends one.
💡 Tip: Applying to a conservative industry (law, finance, government)? Stick to single-column templates like Classic or Elegant — recruiters there tend to expect a traditional look, and ATS software parses them more reliably.
2
Personal Info & Summary (Step 1)
Enter your full name, target job title, email, phone, and location. The job title field matters more than it looks — it's what KIE uses to tailor everything downstream. The moment you fill it in, KIE automatically generates 3 different professional summary options right there in the form — tap one to insert it, then edit it to sound like you. A strong summary is genuinely worth 15 of your ATS score's 100 points, and specifically rewards being present, being 40+ words long, and being written for your actual target role rather than generic.
3
Work Experience & Education (Step 2)
For each role, add your position, company, start/end dates, and a description. This is the single heaviest-weighted section of your ATS score — 30 of 100 points — and it's not just about having entries. Points come specifically from having real descriptions, from those descriptions containing a quantified result or metric (a number, a percentage, a naira/dollar figure), and from using strong action verbs instead of passive phrasing. "Responsible for managing a team" scores worse than "Managed a team of 6, cutting onboarding time by 35%" — same job, very different signal. Ask KIE to turn any rough bullet into a stronger one; it's built to push you toward specifics.
💡 Tip: If you genuinely can't quantify something, quantify the scale instead — team size, number of clients, budget managed, tickets resolved per week. A number is a number.
4
Skills & Save (Step 3)
Add your skills one at a time — KIE will suggest relevant ones based on your job title if you're stuck. This section rewards having 5 or more skills and a mix of technical and soft skills, not just a long list of buzzwords. Once everything looks right, name your resume (something like "Product Manager — Fintech" if you're keeping multiple versions) and tap Save Resume. Saving is the line between a "Draft" and a real, permanent resume — drafts live only in your browser and can't be downloaded as PDF until you save.
5
Check Your ATS Score, Then Download
Once saved, you'll see your ATS score immediately — every plan gets the number, Pro and Premier get the full breakdown of exactly which of the 6 scoring categories (contact info, summary, experience, education, skills, formatting) is costing you points and what to fix. When you're happy, tap Download PDF from the dashboard or the resume detail page. If nothing happens, check that your browser allows pop-ups for this site — that's the #1 cause of a PDF that "won't download."
✨ There are 13 templates in total. Free gives you 5 of them; Pro and Premier unlock all 13. Every template shares the same content — switching styles never touches your actual data.
🏛️ Classic & Elegant
Best for: Finance, Law, Government, Consulting
Single-column, traditional structure, muted colors. This is the safest style for both humans and machines — recruiters in conservative industries expect exactly this look, and single-column layouts are the easiest for ATS software to parse top-to-bottom without scrambling your section order.
⚡ Modern, Minimal & Slate
Best for: Tech, Product, Startups, Data
Clean contemporary layouts with clear section hierarchy and generous white space. Slate adds a dark accent panel for extra visual weight. These read well to both a hiring manager skimming in 7 seconds and to an ATS — the hierarchy is visual but the underlying structure stays linear.
💼 Bold & Executive
Best for: Senior, Director & Leadership roles
Heavier typography and confident spacing — designed to signal seniority at a glance. Works especially well when your work experience section is doing the heavy lifting (which, at 30 of 100 ATS points, it always should be).
🎨 Vivid, Coral & Ink
Best for: Creative, Media, Marketing, Design
Bold color and standout layout choices, built to be memorable in industries where your resume is itself a small piece of portfolio evidence. These lean more visual, so if you're applying somewhere that also runs your resume through an ATS first, pair one of these with the full ATS breakdown to double-check nothing important is getting lost in the layout.
🖼️ Nova & Tribune
Best for: Sales, Customer-facing, Personal-brand-forward roles
The two templates that support a profile photo. Useful where a face genuinely helps build trust before the first call — sales, hospitality, coaching, community roles. Skip these for roles/regions where photo-on-resume isn't the norm, since it can invite unconscious bias rather than help you.
📐 Split
Best for: General use, multi-industry applicants
A structured two-column layout that adapts well when you're applying across a few different fields at once and don't want to commit to one strong aesthetic direction.
Switching templates later
Templates are picked when you create a resume. To move existing content into a different template today, create a new resume and carry your details over — full template-switching on an already-saved resume is on the roadmap. Not sure which one fits? Run the Match Template Quiz on your dashboard — tell it your industry and seniority and it'll point you to one.
1
What KIE actually is
KIE isn't a chatbot bolted onto the side of Kievora — it's woven into almost every screen. There are really two different ways you experience it: inline assist, where KIE quietly helps while you build (summary suggestions, skill suggestions, bullet-point rewrites, no chat window needed), and the full KIE chat, a real back-and-forth conversation for anything from "rewrite this bullet" to "help me decide between two job offers."
2
Opening the full chat
Tap the floating KIE button (bottom-right on most screens) or Ask KIE AI on your dashboard. Inside, KIE can see context about your saved resumes, so you can say things like "check my Product Manager resume against this job description" without re-pasting your whole resume.
3
Spark, Core & Nova — the three tiers
Spark (everyone, free) is built for speed — quick resume tips, fast answers, skill ideas. Core (Pro, $7/mo) reasons more deeply: full resume reviews that actually catch structural problems, real interview prep with follow-up questions, cover letters that reference specifics from the job description, plus two extra powers — live web search (so KIE can pull in something like current market context instead of guessing) and creative mode for bolder, less templated writing. Nova (Premier, $15/mo) is the tier built for the highest-stakes writing — an executive resume summary, a tricky salary negotiation script, a genuine multi-step career strategy conversation.
💡 The tier only changes how deep KIE reasons — every tier can still access your resumes, suggest skills, and chat normally. You're not locked out of basic help on Free; you just get sharper thinking as you go up.
4
AI credit limits & running out
Free gives 30 AI credits every cycle on KIE Spark. Pro gives 315 credits, Premier gives 675 — credits cover every AI feature on the platform, not just chat, and pricier models spend them faster per message. If you're mid-conversation and hit the wall, you don't have to wait for the reset — Pro and Premier can top up instantly for a small one-time fee.
5
Inline AI help inside the builder
This is the part people miss: while filling out the resume form, the moment you type a job title, KIE silently generates 3 professional summary options right there — no chat needed. Same for skills (type your role, get relevant skill suggestions) and for work experience bullets (ask it to strengthen a weak line and it'll push for a real metric). You can also just describe a role in chat — "I want a resume for a customer support lead, 3 years experience, fintech" — and KIE will build the whole thing from scratch and hand it back to you to review.
💡 Tip: The more specific you are (job title, industry, years of experience, one real achievement), the less generic KIE's output will be. Vague in, vague out.
1
AI Resume — build from a prompt
Instead of filling in a form field by field, describe yourself in plain language — "customer support lead, 3 years experience, fintech, managed a team of 4" — and KIE drafts a complete, structured resume from that brief: summary, work experience, education, skills, all in one pass. You then review and edit it like any other resume. Pro & Premier.
2
Career Health Score — a full check-up
A wider check than your resume's ATS score alone — it looks at how complete and market-ready your overall profile is (resume strength, skills coverage, positioning) and gives you a health-check style read on where you stand and what to prioritize next. Pro & Premier.
3
Career Roadmap — a real plan, not just advice
Pick a timeframe — 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, or 5 years — and KIE builds a structured plan to get you from where you are to where you want to be, broken into concrete milestones rather than vague encouragement. Pro & Premier.
4
Salary Intel — know your number before you negotiate
Get a realistic sense of your market value for your role, experience level, and location, so you're not guessing when a recruiter asks your salary expectations or when it's time to negotiate an offer. Premier only.
5
Industry Intel — trends & opportunities
A read on where your industry is heading — what's growing, what's shrinking, what skills are becoming valuable — so your career decisions are based on where the market's going, not just where it's been. Premier only.
6
LinkedIn AI — optimise your profile
KIE reviews how your LinkedIn presence is likely landing and suggests concrete rewrites for your headline, About section, and experience bullets — the same "make it specific, make it measurable" principles it applies to your resume, applied to your profile instead. Pro & Premier.
7
Mock Interview — practice before it counts
A simulated interview where KIE asks real questions for your role — technical, behavioral, or leadership-style depending on what you're prepping for — and gives you feedback on your answers, so the first tough question you face is in practice, not in the room. Premier only.
8
Personal Brand — your bio, pitch & tagline
Generates the short-form things that are surprisingly hard to write about yourself — a bio for a profile, a 30-second elevator pitch, a one-line professional tagline — all consistent with how you're positioning yourself everywhere else. Premier only.
9
Pro Message — application & outreach messages
Drafts the messages around your job search that aren't your resume or cover letter — a cold outreach note to a hiring manager, a reply to a recruiter, a thank-you note after an interview — matched to a professional tone. Pro & Premier.
10
Promotion Ready — are you actually ready?
An honest readiness check for your next promotion — where your case is strong, where it's thin, and what to fix or document before you make the ask. Premier only.
✨ Quick summary: Pro unlocks 5 tools — AI Resume, Career Health Score, Career Roadmap, LinkedIn AI, and Pro Message. Premier unlocks all 10, adding Salary Intel, Industry Intel, Mock Interview, Personal Brand, and Promotion Ready — plus Recruiter View, a report showing your profile exactly as a recruiter would see it, and eligibility for a verified badge.
1
Why this exists
Most of your job search actually happens in your inbox, not in Kievora — application confirmations, recruiter replies, interview invites, rejections. Gmail AI closes that gap by letting KIE actually see that side of your search instead of you manually copying updates over.
2
Connecting your inbox
From the Gmail AI page, connect your Google account with read-only access — Kievora can read relevant emails but can never send, delete, or modify anything in your inbox on its own. KIE then starts scanning specifically for job-search related emails; everything else is left alone.
3
What happens automatically once connected
Three things run in the background: (1) application confirmation emails get logged to your dashboard the moment they land, so your application history builds itself; (2) a recruiter reply triggers an instant interview alert, with a quick briefing pulled together on the company and role so you're not walking in cold; (3) if 7 days pass with no reply on an application, KIE drafts a polite follow-up email for you to review and send — it never sends anything without you approving it first.
4
Cover letters straight from the job description
When an actual job description lands in your connected inbox (forwarded from a recruiter, part of an application portal email, etc.), you can ask KIE to draft a cover letter matched to it directly — no copying the JD into a separate window first.
5
Privacy & disconnecting
Gmail AI is a Premier feature. Access is read-only and scoped only to what's relevant to your job search; KIE never reads personal, financial, or unrelated emails. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, and once you do, your data clears within 24 hours.
🔒 Nothing here is sent anywhere without your review — follow-ups and cover letters are drafted for you to approve, never auto-sent.
1
Browsing listings
Find Jobs pulls in live listings you swipe through card by card — role, company, location, and a quick summary up front. Listings refresh regularly, and anyone can browse for free, no plan required, no account restrictions.
2
Opening a listing & applying
Free plan members can browse and see full listing details, but opening a listing to view the complete posting and applying directly through Kievora is a Pro and Premier feature. If you're on Free and find something you like, that's usually the moment worth considering an upgrade — it unlocks applying without leaving the app.
3
Checking fit before you apply
Before you spend time on an application, ask KIE to compare the listing against your saved resume. It'll flag skill gaps or mismatches worth addressing first — sometimes that means tweaking your resume's skills section, sometimes it means the role isn't actually a fit yet.
💡 Tip: Keep a couple of resume versions tailored to slightly different roles — Find Jobs works better when the resume you're checking against actually matches what you're applying for.
1
Download from the Dashboard
On your resume cards, tap the green ↓ PDF button to instantly download that resume as a PDF file — no watermark, ready to attach to an application straight away.
2
Download from the Detail View
Open any resume by tapping it, then use the Download PDF button in the detail view header. This also lets you preview exactly how it'll look before committing to the download.
3
Exactly how your ATS score is calculated
This is the part most people never see explained anywhere: your score out of 100 is built from 6 weighted categories. Contact info (15 pts) — name, email, phone, location all present. Professional summary (15 pts) — present, 40+ words, and written for your specific role rather than generic. Work experience (30 pts, the biggest single category) — entries present, real descriptions, at least one quantified metric per role, and strong action verbs instead of passive phrasing. Education (15 pts) — entries present with degree and field specified. Skills (15 pts) — 5 or more skills, mixing technical and soft skills rather than just one type. Formatting signals (10 pts) — LinkedIn or portfolio link present, consistent date formatting, no obvious errors. Add it up and you get a grade: A+ (90+), A (80-89), B+ (75-79), B (65-74), C+ (55-64), C (45-54), or D (under 45).
💡 Because Work Experience alone is worth 30 points — more than Education and Skills combined — the single highest-leverage thing you can do for your score is go back through your bullet points and add one real number to each.
4
Troubleshooting Downloads
PDF not downloading? Check your browser allows pop-ups for this site — that's the most common cause. Make sure you have a stable internet connection, and try Chrome if another browser is giving you trouble. Drafts (unsaved resumes) can't be downloaded at all — save the resume first and the option appears immediately.
⚠️ Drafts (unsaved resumes) don't have a PDF download option — save first

How payment actually works
Payments are processed securely through Paystack. Prices are shown in USD but converted to your local currency — Naira, for example — at the live exchange rate right at checkout. You don't need a foreign/dollar card; a normal local card or transfer works.
5
Running out of AI credits mid-cycle
On Pro or Premier, if you burn through your AI credits before your cycle renews, top up instantly for a small one-time fee rather than waiting. Credits cover every AI feature — chat, tools, Gmail Intelligence — not just chat. Free doesn't offer top-ups — upgrading is the path to more credits there.
6
Upgrading, downgrading & cancelling
Everything lives under Billing in your account menu — change plans or cancel anytime, no fees, no retention calls, no questions asked. Cancelling keeps your paid features active until the end of the period you already paid for, then you drop to Free automatically — nothing is deleted, your resumes and data stay exactly as they are.
